Hallo every one!!! :dummy:

Today I have some stuff to inform and tell you all about. AND even ask :)So lets start with one thing at the time ^^

:bulletgreen: Shadowness

Last time I published my journal, watchers of mine and members here from DA, have requested some feedback about the site Shadowness I am trying out. ( It is a new art site for really great skilled artist for those of you who didn´t read my last journal -->  shadowness.com/ ) I have been there a couple of weeks now, and so far I can only recommand the page. The tone at the site is nice. The artist are polite. You automatically recieve a lot of comments on your art. You get what DA call watchers pretty fast, and you discover new amazing artists. The site is build like the more active you are, the more oppurtunities you get. In the beginning for an example you are only allowed to upload 3 images per day to the site, but after a while you will be able to submit 5 images per day. It will keep being more depending on how active you are on the page. You will be able in time to change the settings. And when I say settings I am talking about adding you own personal background to your account. And you can choose the background you will like to have when you surf around inside shadowness univers, You can actually compare it a little to google + where you also are able to create your own settings to make it more personal. So like I said I can only recommend it, but remember to make you pictures smaller if your files are huge before you submit in there, since they have a limit on the size of the file. Shadowness is 100 % a free site. It is possible to pay for an account that makes it possible to submit 30 images per day or more. But that is mostly the only difference. So if you want to be on this art site, and you believe your art is above average I would not hesitate to say GO. Because compared to DA there are no art thieves there.

:bulletgreen: Forum journal

I have for the very first time here on DA contributed to DA´s forum --> forum.deviantart.com/showcase/… . And I have to say I am very posetively surprised how much response you can acchieve on that. I have here asked for inspiration, and told that I was willing to give comments to artists if they commented my art. So today I am going to feature all the art I commented on, and my comments under  Critiques for NON-Premium members because I do believe they all deserve more exposure. They are maybe not that long and meaningfull as you are used to watch in my journal. But they are here. And I really hope you will take a look at them. Because these artists search for constructive critiques, exposure and views. And that is what I am trying to help them acchieve

:bulletgreen: I am searching for musicians!

I am planning to begin start filming when I draw my patterndrawings, and then speed up the process when I am done with the drawing, and at the end put up it up on youtube. (Maybe other places too, like here at DA and other art sites. If you would like it on a music site or facebook etc, that would be possible too)

Examples of my earlier work is. And it would be in this kind of style I would use the music for:

The reason I am searching for music is because I personally think that it is a little dull that there would be no sound, and only me drawing. So I was wondering if there was anyone here at DA that played music, was in a band ect, or knew someone that might could be interested in letting me use there music? I am not searching for a specific kind of style in music, but of course I need to like it myself. And truth be told I am very easy to please since I listen to heavy metal, pop, classics, instrumential, rock, rap, techno etc. Even once in a while opera. I would of course credit the band I was borrowing their number from, give them the video file when I am done, so they can upload the video as well online. But like I will credit you, I would like you to credit me as an artist as well. In that case we would both gaine hopefully a lot of exposure. I would even make my art videos (if possible) as long as your song is, so it would be kind of a music video to you / your band.

I know I could choose to steal famous music from the music world, and use. But I am not interested in YouTube or other placing taking it down because of copyright. And I think it would be more fun for unknown artists to work together in this matter. Or at least that is what I believe. So if anyone of you are interested or know anyone interested, please let me know. You can note me, and if possible (if you have some of your music online) send me a link, so I can check you out. But I do have to point that the music I am interested in is something you have created yourself from scratch and not cover songs you have heard before.

I really hope to hear from someone! Because it could be amazing!

That is what I have to say this time. I look forward to hear from you

I see you are inspired by street art and grafitti. I personally love street art myself. But I always find the way street art artist write very hard to read. I think it looks stunning but for me it can be simply to abstract. I don´t think that right now. I am actually able to read it. And that is amazing! I love the way you have made the letters melt into each other and still made it possible for the viewer to see it says marto. Great job! And not enough with that. You have a really great sense of colors. Even thoug you use every kind of colors avaliable, like in a rainbow it looks great because of the combination you have mixed it into. Not everyone can do that. And the small breaks of patterns with the . penn ball makes it look so unique. I love it. The only thing I would critique is that you make a very thick line around all the letters. A contur line. I agree it should be here, but the questions is if it is too thick? Could it have been thinner? Should it even be there? Could I do it without? Should it be everywhere? Could I only use it some places? You see when you don´t make that line art all over art can be much more alive, In the sense it looks more interesting, and pop more art. When you do line art it can tend to be a little doll and very stiff to look at. I don´t think it looks overyly stiff in this case, but I think that might should be something you should consider in the future :) And it is only a suggestion, because I really like this. I hope you friend loved it because it is amazing to look at!

I don´t know why but when I look at this I see an abgel halo, but also dewil horns. So if I was to interpret this painting I would say it is a fight between good and evil

:thumb342286499:

For me this painting makes me think I am out on the ocean. And then not anyway. Maybe at a coast, because there is a three pointing out, with a basket hanging down. Maybe I am in a fairytale? A new world, where a kid, or some super animal is leaved behind, and this is a beginning to an adventure? Sorry if I seem crazy, but I guess my imagination lets my mind run  :)

:thumb330311602:

Very simple parinting / drawing you have created here. Not bad either. I would say you are a medium painter right here. But why so little in this image? When you make it so super simpel you need to notice details, or add them. Like skyes in the heaven. maybe a bird in the three. Maybe a flower. Or maybe it should be foggy outside. Or create a background? I feel like this painting / drawing is unfinished. It simple is to simple.

:thumb352744467:

Wauw. It is amazing how well you have captured a feeling! Normally when I see great pencil drawings I see a well done portrait, but you managed to capture a feeling!. Not a thing a lot of artist can, and I am sure impressed by your talent!. Keep drawing!

Colorful Drops 12 by flowerhippie22

This is simply so beautiful! Who would have thought M&M´s could be that way? I love thYou should really be proud of it. I can tell it was an instant fave for me. WOW

Try these muffins by Yitzin

I find this drawing very cute. Almost chibi like. The two girls sure are adoreble, but I have to ask why not use a font to the boxes insteas of writing them yourself? I actually think that takes a little bit focus from the girls. Just a thought :)

Don't hug me by Yitzin

Again very sweet ladies, but I have to admit the girl at the left sides face is a little off. Don´t tak it the wrong way but something is off with the eyes like they are cross-eyed. I think has something to do with the high light. I can tell you a manga person with the signs over their heads. For me the >.< and the other sign shouldn´t have been there. It makes it looks unprofessional. And you really know how to color and make these girls. So that is what I think  :)

Doing Flora's hair by Yitzin

his one is really cute chibbies! And quite proffessionel in colors, and how you create them. I could easily imagine those in a online game where you can put different clothes, make up and hairstyles on them. Great job!

DARK VIOLINIST by dhbraley

You really have an expressive way of drawing!

CE: Territorial Dispute by ethanoI

I actually like this. You are very much in control when you draw black and white. You create clean lines, and shades very well. I really like this

Forever is A Long Time Alone by Bluejotain

You really know your colors. I simply ove your color combinations. But her body proportions is wrong. Her arms are soo thin and the same with her hands. Try take a look at your own hands in front of a mirror. You are actually able to almost cover your entire face with onw hand. A lot of artist actually don´t think about how large hands are, but they are actually not small at all. My suggestion is like the other comment I left with drawing one time. I hope you don´t take this the wring way because I am still very fascinated by your color choices!

You DO like him by Bluejotain

A very cute couple. But I repeat myself. The body proportions are off. Here they are very boxy / square. I works for you with the guy at the left because he is wearing a jacket, but I can still see it. You already know my advice for you. And I once again have to say it is a delight for the eye to watch this color combination. And that even though you have chosen you use the color contrast red against green. And it really works, and make your art pop! So well done!

Not That Different by Bluejotain

First of all I am glad you make different bodytypes of females. Because sometimes I do think that it can be a little bit boring only to look at thin supermodels with anerexia (Sorry if I mispelled, I am a dane, so  ) But when that is said. Even though I know it isn´t super thin womans you are a little of with your propertions. The girl at the right side. Her head is a little bit to big to the body, that is what I think. I am not sure, but it is between her head and shoulders something is wrong. The girl at the left. I love her, but here it is the angles of her feets that annoys me a little. I think you might should consider drawing croquis if you know what that is? It is drawing naked people on time. You don´t have to do that exactly. But if I were you I would find a lot of pictures of women and men at the internet and start to draw on time. First 30 seconds change the phote, then 30 seconds again. Do that for ten minutes, and then slowly speed up the time. But keep the deadline. It will help you a lot with the atonomy of the human body. I would say the maximum amount of time for this practise should be 20 minutes. But remember it is only a suggestion :)

Gingerhead by CoffeeToffeeSquirrel

I really adore and love your choice of colors. It is a blessing for the eyes. I simply love it. This might sound weird, but if I could buy that as a textile print I would definately either make myself a blouse or a dress of it. Super lovely!

I love that qoute from Harry Potter. It is one of my favourites as well! Love you use it, and make people wonder about it

O.n.c.e. U.p.o.n. A. T.i.m.e. by YumeNox

I think this photomanipulation is very well done. I just have one question. Why make it so blurry?. Is it because it is easier to make the pictures glide into each other?

I rap on the side. If one of the musicians you come across makes instrumental beats, we could get to talking, mix something together and get that going for you.
